For the fly-fisherman a boat trip to the far western end of Charlotte to Little Charlotte Lake (fly-fishing only) is suggested. The rapids that feed Little Charlotte offers the avid fly-fisherman hours of entertainment. Near-by there is a beautiful public beach, just perfect for a day picnic.

Besides great trout fishing, fantastic views and quiet, there are kilometers of hiking and biking trails. The historic town of Bella Coola is a two hour drive away. There is seasonal ferry service to Vancouver and points north on the Pacific Coast, but advance reservations and planning are required and can be done in Bella Coola or on-line.
